The Jungle House Hakuba is owned an operated by us, Jake & Shoko.
We will be the ones helping you organise your holiday, and we will be hosting you during your stay in Hakuba.
Our Story
We purchased the house in late 2019, and after some renovations we opened The Jungle House Hakuba in 2020. Which was a terrible time to start an international tourism business due to Covid-19.
Although we did our best and thankfully to domestic tourism we have made it through the pandemic and are excited to host international guests as we originally planned to do 2 years ago.
We both have extensive experience in the accommodation and tourism industry, enabling us to give you the best possible holiday to Hakuba.
You can rely on us for any information regarding Hakuba & we will be right with you from your first inquiry, through to after you have checked out.
Why Hakuba
Over 10 years since we first came to Hakuba, we are still in love with the small village surrounded by the gigantic northern alps of Japan. Hakuba has amazing views that change with every season, which also brings a new array of activities that become available.
We both are outside enjoying the natural beauty of Hakuba in all seasons, whether its skiing in Winter, cherry blossoms in Spring. Swimming in beautiful rivers and lakes in Summer, and amazing hiking options as the leaves change colour in the Autumn.
